Marinated Carrots - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. carrots
    1 large onion, sliced thin
    1 large green pepper, sliced thin
    1 (10 1/2 oz.) tomato soup, undiluted
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. salad oil
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. pepper
    3/4 c. vinegar
Preparation
    Cook carrots until tender.
    Cool.
    Mix sugar, soup, oil, vinegar, salt and pepper.
    Bring this mixture to a boil (until sugar is dissolved).
    Pour over carrots, onions and green pepper. Place in refrigerator overnight.
