Sausage Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 oz. cooked turkey breakfast sausage
    3 oz. hot Mexican style Velveeta cheese, cubed
    1 c. cream of mushroom soup
    1 c. uncooked brown rice
    1 bell pepper, chopped
    1 (2 oz.) jar sliced pimentos
    1 large onion, chopped
    1 small can sliced mushrooms
Preparation
    Cook rice according to package directions, approximately 45 minutes.
    In microwave or a sprayed nonstick skillet, cook bell pepper and onion until tender.
    Put this in a large mixing bowl and set aside. Cook the turkey sausage; drain.
    Mix with the cooked vegetables.
    Add the cheese to the hot mixture; stir until cheese is melted.
    Add drained mushrooms, pimentos, soup and cooked rice.
    Mix well.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 until hot, bubbly and slightly browned.
    Makes 6 large servings.
