Chocolate Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. oil
2 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. cocoa
2 tsp. soda
1 c. buttermilk
1 c. boiling water
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Cream the oil and sugar.
Add eggs.
Mix thoroughly.
Add flour, cocoa and buttermilk alternately.
Boil water and soda together and add last.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes.
Test center with toothpick.
(Use a 13 x 2 x 9-inch pan.)
