Steve'S Scratch Chocolate Fudge Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 2/3 c. all-purpose flour or 2 c. cake flour
1 1/2 c. sugar
2/3 c. cocoa
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. buttermilk
1/2 c. shortening
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

If using self-rising flour, decrease baking soda to 3/4 teaspoon and omit salt.
