Buttermilk Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 large eggs or 4 medium eggs
    1 c. butter or margarine
    1 c. buttermilk
    2 3/4 c. sugar
    3 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. soda
    vanilla (if desired)
Preparation
    Cream the butter and sugar well. Add eggs, one at a time.
    Add soda to buttermilk and then add to sugar mixture alternately with flour.
    Bake at 315\u00b0 for 1 hour and 10 minutes.
