Country Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. shortening
    2 c. sugar
    2 c. brown sugar
    4 eggs
    2 tsp. vanilla
    3 c. plain flour
    2 tsp. baking soda
    2 tsp. salt
    4 c. quick oats
    2 c. coconut
    1 c. nuts
Preparation
    In large bowl cream sugars and shortening.
    Add eggs and vanilla.
    Beat until blended.
    Add flour, sprinkle baking soda and salt.
    Beat until flour can't be seen.
    With wooden spoon stir in oats and coconut. Drop by tablespoon 3 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 until edges begin to brown, 10 to 12 minutes.
