English Toffee(Microwave) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/3 c. sugar
    1 c. melted butter (no substitute)
    1 Tbsp. light corn syrup
    2 Tbsp. water
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
    1/2 c. chocolate chips
    1/2 c. chopped walnuts (optional)
Preparation
    Combine sugar, butter, syrup and water in a 2-quart glass baking dish.
    Microwave on High for 10 to 12 minutes until caramel colored, stirring twice.
    Stir in vanilla quickly.
    Pour in greased 9 x 12-inch dish.
    Sprinkle chocolate on top and, when softened, spread evenly.
    Sprinkle with nuts, if desired. Remember: Use only real butter!
    When cool, break into pieces.
