Fresh Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1 c. water
2 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 small box strawberry jello
1 baked pie shell
strawberries

Preparation

Combine in saucepan water, sugar and cornstarch.
Bring to a boil and boil 3 to 5 minutes.
Remove from heat and add jello, stirring to dissolve.
Let cool until warm, then put berries in pie shell and pour jello mixture over them.
Chill until set. Garnish with Cool Whip.
