Hamburg Loaf - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 potatoes, sliced thin
3 onions, sliced
1 lb. hamburg
1 tsp. sugar
1 can tomatoes (large can)
salt and pepper
Preparation

Put layer of potatoes in buttered 3-quart casserole, then layer on onions, seasoning, then hamburg and seasoning.
Repeat layering until all hamburg is used.
Finish with hamburg on top. Pour sugar and tomatoes over mixture.
Cover and cook one hour in 350\u00b0 oven.
Remove cover and cook 1/2 hour longer.
