Beef Stroganoff - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. stew meat
    1/2 lb. sliced mushrooms or 1 (8 oz.) can
    1 pkg. onion soup mix
    1 can golden or plain mushroom soup
    1 clove garlic
    1 tsp. basil
    1/2 c. red wine
Preparation
    Mix together.
    Bake, covered, for 2 1/2 to 3 hours.
    Do not open while baking.
    Serve over rice.
