Ingredients

2 c. flour
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. powdered sugar
1 c. butter Crisco
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation

Mix sugar and butter Crisco.
Add and mix egg, vanilla and pecans.
Add flour mixture and mix well.
Form into balls and place on cookie sheet.
Flatten with fork and bake at 375\u00b0.
