Apple Crisp - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can sour cherries, drained
    4 c. sliced apples
    1/4 c. hot water (don't add when using cherries)
    1/4 c. butter
    1/2 c. flour
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/4 tsp. cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
Preparation
    Cream butter, flour, sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg.
    Then put over apples.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 40 to 45 minutes.
