Ingredients

3/4 c. sugar
1 c. chopped dates
2 well beaten eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped nuts
1 c. corn flakes
1 c. Rice Krispies
1/2 (4 oz.) pkg. coconut
Preparation

In heavy skillet, mix sugar, dates and eggs.
Cook over medium heat until mixture pulls away from the sides of the pan, about 5 minutes.
Cool 3 minutes and add vanilla and nuts.
Mix well and carefully work in cereal.
Dampen hands in cool water and roll mixture into small balls and roll them in coconut.
