Pot Roast - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 lb. roast
    1 pkg. onion soup mix
    2 to 4 lb. fresh carrots, peeled
    2 large peeled onions
    6 to 8 peeled potatoes (whole)
    stalk celery
    bay leaf
Preparation
    Cook roast in covered roaster with onion soup mix, onions and celery at 325\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours, then add whole peeled carrots and potatoes.
    Cover and cook until tender.
    Serve on platter.
