Buttercream Icing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. milk
    3 Tbsp. cornstarch
    3/4 c. butter
    3/4 c. shortening
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Bring milk and cornstarch to boil.
    Cook until thick.
    Then cover and cool in refrigerator.
    Beat together butter, shortening and sugar for about 10 minutes.
    Add cooled cornstarch with vanilla.
    Beat on high until creamy, about 10 minutes.
