Crescent Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
    2 1/2 c. flour, sifted
    1 c. nuts
Preparation
    Cream the butter, gradually adding sugar. Add vanilla.
    Cream together. Gradually add flour, then nuts. Chill for awhile so it will shape good.
    Shape in crescents (half moons). Bake at 350\u00b0 about 12 minutes. Roll in powdered sugar. Can shape in balls if you like.
    I makes these every year at Christmas.
