Butterscotch Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter or margarine
    1 3/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
    2 large eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. flour
    2 c. quick cooking oats
    1 tsp. baking soda
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. water
    1 c. butterscotch morsels
    1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    In a large bowl, beat margarine and sugar until light and fluffy.
    Add eggs, one at a time, beating well.
    Add vanilla. Combine oats, baking soda and salt.
    Add alternately with water to creamed mixture.
    Stir in butterscotch and nuts.
    Drop by heaping teaspoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet.
    Bake in a preheated oven at 375\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes, until edges are lightly browned. Yields about 6 dozen cookies.
