Mandarin Spice Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (11 oz.) can mandarin oranges
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1 3/4 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    1/4 tsp. allspice
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/3 c. shortening
    1 egg, slightly beaten
    1/4 c. milk
    1/4 c. butter, melted
    1/4 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Drain oranges on paper towel.
    Sift flour before measuring. Sift into large bowl: flour, baking powder, salt, nutmeg, allspice and 1/2 cup sugar.
    Cut in shortening to fine crumbs.
    Combine egg and milk and add to dry mixture until flour is moistened.
    Spoon into greased muffin tins.
    Bake for 20 to 25 minutes at 350\u00b0.
