Pumpkin Bread - cooking recipe

3 c. sugar
1 c. pumpkin
1 c. oil
3/4 c. water
4 eggs
3 1/2 c. flour
2 tsp. soda
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
walnuts (optional)
Preparation

Grease and flour four 1-pound coffee cans.
Sift dry ingredients together; set aside.
Mix remaining ingredients. Slowly add dry ingredients to batter while mixing.
Pour into coffee cans (1/2 full).
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
Makes 4 loaves.
