Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1/4 c. flour
1/8 tsp. melted butter or margarine
pinch of salt
1 tsp. grated lemon peel
2 well beaten egg yolks
1 c. milk, scalded
2 stiffly beaten egg whites
juice of 3 lemons
Preparation

Combine sugar, flour, salt and butter.
Add lemon juice and peel.
Stir in egg yolks and milk and mix.
Fold in egg whites. Pour into greased 1 1/2-quart casserole or individual baking cups. Bake in pan with 1-inch of hot water surrounding it.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour.
Makes 6 servings.
