Seven Up Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter or margarine, softened
    1/2 c. oil
    3 c. sugar
    5 eggs
    3 c. all-purpose flour
    7 oz. 7-Up cola (1 c. minus 2 Tbsp.)
    1 tsp. lemon extract
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Grease and lightly flour a Bundt or tube pan. Combine butter, oil, and sugar in mixer bowl.
    Beat until smooth.
    Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
    Add flour, 7-Up, and lemon extract.
    Mix well.
    Spoon into pan and bake for 1 hour or until a toothpick comes out clean when inserted into center of cake.
    Cool in pan for 10 minutes. Invert onto cake plate.
    Cool completely before slicing.
