Apple Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple in natural juice
    1/2 c. flour
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 stick margarine
    4 to 5 apples
    Cool Whip
    pecans
Preparation
    Cook pineapple, flour and sugar until thick.
    Remove from heat and add margarine.
    Stir until the margarine melts.
    Cool.
    Peel and slice apples in mixture.
    Cover with Cool Whip and sprinkle with chopped pecans.
