Sherried Apple Pork Chops - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 pork chops (1-inch thick)
    2 Tbsp. butter
    2 large apples, peeled and diced
    1 onion, chopped
    3/4 c. sherry
    1/2 c. orange juice
    1/2 tsp. garlic powder
    2 Tbsp. brown sugar
    2 Tbsp. soya sauce
Preparation
    Brown pork chops in butter. Put apples and onions over browned chops.
    Mix remaining ingredients and pour on top.
    Cover and simmer for 1 hour.
