Red Red Chili Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    18 red tomatoes
    3 large onions
    3 peppers (1 red, 2 green)
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. salt
    2 c. cider vinegar (or may use white)
    1 Tbsp. celery seed
    1 Tbsp. mustard seed
    3 Tbsp. pickling spice tied in gauze bag
    1 Tbsp. chopped crystallized ginger
Preparation
    Grind together first 3 ingredients.
    Add sugar and salt. Simmer 30 minutes.
    Stir in vinegar and remaining ingredients. Cook 40 minutes, until thick, stirring often.
    Remove gauze bag. Fill five 6 1/2 pint sterilized jars.
