Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 3/4 c. boiling water
    1 c. quick oats
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. lightly packed brown sugar
    1 stick soft margarine
    2 large or 3 medium eggs
    1 3/4 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. cocoa
    1/2 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
    3/4 c. coarsely chopped walnuts or pecans
Preparation
    In large bowl, pour boiling water over oats.
    Let stand 10 minutes.
    Stir in sugar, brown sugar and margarine.
    Add eggs. Sift together then add
    flour, baking soda, salt and cocoa.
    Stir in chocolate chips.
    Pour into a greased 9 x 13-inch cake pan.
    Spread remaining chips and walnuts or pecans on top.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 minutes.
    Cool before serving.
