Butterscotch Sticks - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick butter
    2 c. brown sugar
    2 c. plain flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 eggs (not beaten)
    2 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. pecans, chopped
Preparation
    Melt butter and let cool.
    Add brown sugar, stirring well, then add eggs one at a time, beating well after each.
    Add flour, salt and baking powder sifted together.
    Add vanilla and nuts. Put in well greased pan.
    Cook for 30 minutes at 325\u00b0.
    Cut while warm into squares.
    Roll in powdered sugar.
    Makes approximately 50 squares.
