Spinach Dip By Melba - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (16 oz.) container sour cream
    16 oz. mayonnaise
    1 envelope dried vegetable soup mix
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen chopped spinach, thawed and drained
    1 (6 oz.) can water chestnuts, drained and chopped
    1 bunch green onions, washed and chopped
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients.
    Refill 16-ounce sour cream container with mayonnaise for easy measuring.
    Be sure to drain or squeeze the water out of thawed spinach; a little extra chopping can be helpful for ease of serving.
    Best if refrigerated overnight to allow dried vegetable soup mix to hydrate.
