Pineapple Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. crushed pineapple with juice
2 Tbsp. cornstarch or flour
1 c. sugar
2 egg yolks
1 Tbsp. butter
2 Tbsp. lemon juice
1 c. crushed soda cracker crumbs
1 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. margarine

Preparation

Mix together.
Place the mixture in a buttered 9 x 9-inch pan. Add the cooled filling mixture.
Make a meringue with 2 egg whites.
Spread on top and bake until golden brown at 350\u00b0.
