Soft Ginger Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3/4 tsp. cinnamon
    1 Tbsp. ginger
    1/8 tsp. nutmeg
    1/2 c. shortening
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 egg
    1 c. Brer Rabbit light molasses
    1 Tbsp. vinegar
    2 tsp. soda
    1/2 c. boiling water
Preparation
    Sift dry ingredients.
    Cream shortening and sugar.
    Add egg; add molasses.
    Add vinegar and add dry ingredients.
    Add soda and water.
    Add extra flour for thicker cookies.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes.
