Scripture Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. Judges 5:25 (butter)
3/4 c. Jeremiah 6:20 (molasses)
2 c. 1 Kings 4:22 (flour)
1/2 tsp. each 2 Chronicles 9:9 (cinnamon, cloves and ginger)
dash of Leviticus 2:13 (salt)
3 Jeremiah 17:11 (eggs)
1/2 c. Judges 4:19 (buttermilk)
1/3 c. 1 Samuel 14:25 (honey)
1 c. 1 Samuel 30:12 (raisins)
1 c. Nahum 3:12 (dried figs)
1/2 c. Numbers 17:18 (chopped almonds)
Preparation
-
Cream butter until light; blend in molasses.
Add remaining ingredients.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for 40 minutes.
Brush all sides with Proverbs 31:6 (wine or orange juice).
