Ingredients

1 c. soft butter
1 c. sugar
3 eggs
1/2 c. sour cream
3 1/4 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. chopped, candied cherries
1/2 c. chopped citron
1 c. shredded coconut
1 tsp. grated orange rind
1 1/2 tsp. almond extract
Preparation

Mix together thoroughly the butter, sugar and eggs.
Stir in sour cream.
Sift together and stir in: flour, baking powder, soda and salt.
Stir in cherries, citron, coconut, orange rind and almond extract.
Drop by rounded teaspoonful about 3-inches apart onto ungreased baking sheet.
Bake at 400\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes. Makes 7 to 8 dozen, 2-inch cookies.
