Aunt Millie'S Custard Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 eggs, slightly beaten
    2/3 c. sugar
    2 2/3 c. scalded milk (almost to a boil)
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    Pillsbury ready made pie crust
    nutmeg, sprinkled on top
Preparation
    Lay out prepared pie crust as directed on package, using a deep dish pie pan.
    Add sugar to eggs and mix well.
    Add scalded milk, salt and vanilla.
    Mix well.
    Pour into pie crust.
    Sprinkle top with nutmeg.
    Bake 10 minutes at 450\u00b0 and then 15 minutes in 400\u00b0 oven or until center is pretty well set.
