Ingredients

12 apples
24 ripe tomatoes, chopped and drained
6 onions
3 sweet red peppers
1 lb. raisins
1 qt. vinegar
3 c. sugar
1 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
1 tsp. pepper
1 Tbsp. each: cinnamon, cloves, ginger and salt
Preparation

Chop cored apples, tomatoes, onions, peppers and raisins. Combine with remaining ingredients.
Cook until thick.
Pour into sterilized jars and seal while hot.
This is an excellent meat relish and it makes about 4 quarts.
