Caramel Apple Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. vegetable oil
1/2 c. packed brown sugar
3 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. walnuts
1 1/2 c. sugar
3 eggs
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. soda
3 1/2 c. diced peeled apples
2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

In a mixing bowl, combine oil and sugars.
Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Combine dry ingredients. Add to batter and stir well.
Fold in apples, walnuts and vanilla. Pour into a greased and floured 10-inch tube pan.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours or until cake tests done.
Cool cake in pan for 10 minutes.
Remove to wire rack to cool completely.
