Fried Green Tomatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 large green tomatoes
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 c. cornmeal
    1/4 c. flour
    grease
Preparation
    Slice tomatoes thinly.
    Mix cornmeal, flour, salt and pepper. Dip tomato slices into mixture and place in iron skillet, preheated with grease.
    Fry slowly until brown on both sides. Drain on paper towel.
