Smurgoo - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 tsp. ginger
    1/2 tsp. onion powder
    1 can tomatoes
    1 can tomato paste
    1 can water (distilled if possible)
    1 bay leaf
    1/4 tsp. garlic powder
    1/4 c. butter or oleo
    1 can tomato soup
    1 can tomato puree
Preparation
    The secret of this goodness is in the slow, slow simmering, at least eight hours or more.
    This is pretty much of a universal sauce, to Oven Barbecue \"fri-chick\" or other vegetarian meats, bake in oven at 350\u00b0 and baste frequently with the sauce.
