Spiced Mulled Apple Cider - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. apple cider
    5 whole allspice
    8 whole cloves
    1 stick cinnamon
    1/4 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
Preparation
    Put cider in saucepan.
    Add the spices that have been tied in cheesecloth bag.
    Add the sugar; heat very slowly to a boiling point.
    Heat should be so low that it takes the cider about a half hour to come to boiling point.
    Remove from heat, remove spice bag and serve steaming hot.
    Makes 5 servings.
