Pineapple Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large can crushed pineapple
    1 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. flour
    2 c. shortening
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 egg
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 (7 oz.) pkg. coconut
    4 1/2 c. flour
Preparation
    Cook first 3 ingredients slowly for 10 minutes, until slightly thickened.
    Set aside.
    Combine remaining ingredients (except coconut).
    Press 3/4 of mixture in cookie sheet. Spread on cooled filling.
    Put coconut in remaining mixture and put on top of filling.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes.
