Apple Crisp Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 to 4 Granny Smith apples, peeled, cored and thinly sliced
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 pastry shell
    3/4 c. sugar
    3/4 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. salt
    8 Tbsp. chilled, cubed, unsalted butter
Preparation
    Toss peeled and sliced apples with 2 tablespoons sugar and fill pastry shell, rounding up in center. Combine 3/4 cup sugar, flour, cinnamon and salt.
    Mix in butter with fingertips until granular.
    Sprinkle evenly over apples.
    Bake 15 minutes in a preheated 425\u00b0 oven. Reduce heat to 350\u00b0 and bake another 30 minutes until golden brown. Serve warm with whipped cream.
