Microwave Chili - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. ground beef
1 medium onion, chopped
1/2 c. chopped green pepper
1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
1 (16 oz.) can whole tomatoes
1 (15 1/2 oz.) can kidney beans, undrained (use more if you like)
1/2 c. water
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
2 to 3 tsp. chili powder (more if you like it red hot)
Preparation

Crumble ground beef in a 2-quart glass casserole.
Stir in onion and green pepper.
Cover.
Microwave 6 to 8 minutes on High or until beef is browned.
Drain and stir in remaining ingredients.
Re-cover and microwave 20 to 25 minutes on medium or until hot. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
Yields 5 to 7 servings.
