Honey Drops - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
1 c. shortening
3 eggs
1 c. molasses
1 c. boiling water
5 c. flour
1 Tbsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Cream shortening and sugar.
Add beaten eggs.
Add sifted dry ingredients alternately with hot water.
Add vanilla.
Drop from teaspoon, bake in moderate oven.
Ice with powdered sugar icing. Makes about 7 dozen cookies.
