Sour Cream Apple Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 to 6 tart apples, peeled and sliced
    3/4 c. sugar
    1/4 tsp. cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. sour cream
    2 pie crusts
Preparation
    Core, pare and slice the apples.
    Line a deep pie pan with pastry.
    Spread a layer of apples over the bottom; sprinkle with mixture of sugar, cinnamon and salt.
    Repeat layers until all apples and mixture are used.
    Spread the sour cream over the top. Moisten the rim of the pastry; add the top sheet of dough, making 2 to 3 slits in the top to allow steam to escape.
    Press the top to the bottom crust.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 10 minutes, then lower temperature to 375\u00b0 and bake for 30 to 35 minutes more or until the apples are tender and the crust is golden brown.
