Beef Stroganoff - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. fillet of beef, 1-inch thick
    1 c. chopped onion
    1/2 lb. mushrooms, sliced
    1 c. beef broth
    2 Tbsp. tomato paste
    1/2 c. sour cream
    1 Tbsp. chopped parsley
Preparation
    Cut beef across grain into 1/4-inch slices.
    Cut slices to make 2 x 1-inch pieces.
    Sprinkle with pepper.
    Sear meat in 2 tablespoons hot oil over medium-high heat, until browned; remove beef.
    Saute onion until tender.
    Add mushrooms; continue cooking until tender.
    Add broth and tomato paste; stir until smooth. Blend in sour cream.
    Add beef, along with any juices in bowl and parsley.
    Bring sauce to a simmer; cook 5 minutes or until meat is heated through and sauce thickens.
    Serve with noodles.
