Bran Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 c. flour
    3 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. all-bran cereal
    1 1/4 c. milk
    1 egg
    1/3 c. vegetable oil
    1 c. raisins (optional)
Preparation
    Stir together flour, baking powder, salt and sugar; set aside. Measure cereal and milk into mixing bowl and stir to combine.
    Let stand 1 to 2 minutes or until cereal is softened.
    Add egg and oil to cereal mixture.
    Beat well.
    Add flour mixture, stirring only until combined.
    Stir in raisins.
    Portion batter evenly into 12 greased 2 1/2-inch muffin pan cups.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for about 20 minutes or until muffins are golden brown.
    Serve warm.
