Cherry Nut Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. flour
    1 c. sugar
    1 tsp. soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 can drained sour cherries
    1 c. juice of cherries
    1 beaten egg
    1 Tbsp. melted butter
    3/4 c. chopped nuts
    1 pt. cream, whipped
    powdered sugar
Preparation
    Combine flour, sugar, soda and salt.
    Add 1 beaten egg and chopped nuts.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 minutes in a 9 x 12-inch pan. When cool, frost with 1 pint whipped cream with a little powdered sugar added.
