Oreo Ice Cream Dessert - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large pkg. Oreos, crushed
    1 stick margarine, melted
    1/2 gal. vanilla ice cream, softened
    1 can chocolate syrup
    1 large container Cool Whip
    1 (2 oz.) pkg. slivered almonds
Preparation
    Combine Oreo crumbs and margarine. Mix well. Reserve 1/2 cup mixture. Press in greased 13 x 9-inch pan. Spread ice cream over crust. Drizzle with chocolate syrup. Spread Cool Whip over top. Sprinkle with reserved crumbs. Garnish with almonds. Freeze for at least 12 hours before serving.
