Surprise Pasta - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. acini de pepe (macaroni product)
1 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. cooking oil
1 (15 1/4 oz.) can crushed pineapple (with juice)
1/4 c. powdered sugar
1 c. miniature marshmallows
20 maraschino cherries, chopped
1 (3 1/2 oz.) box instant vanilla pudding
1 c. coconut
1/2 c. chopped pecans
2 c. Cool Whip
Preparation

Put acini de pepe, salt and oil in boiling water.
Cook until tender, about 10 to 12 minutes.
Rinse and drain pasta.
Cool to room temperature.
Add pineapple, sugar, marshmallows and cherries to the pasta.
Sprinkle pudding mix over this and mix lightly. Add coconut, pecans and Cool Whip; fold in lightly.
Refrigerate several hours before serving.
