Old-Fashioned Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 eggs, separated
3 c. flour
1 c. milk
1 tsp. baking powder
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar.
Add unbeaten egg yolks, one at a time.
Beat well after each one is added.
Sift flour and baking powder together and add to mixture, alternating with the milk. Add vanilla.
Last, fold in the stiffly beaten egg whites.
Bake in a slow oven at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour and 20 minutes in a greased and floured tube pan.
