Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. cocoa
1/2 c. butter or margarine
1 tsp. vanilla
3 c. minute oatmeal
1 c. chopped pecans
1 c. powdered sugar
Preparation

Bring the sugar, milk, cocoa and vanilla to a boil in a heavy saucepan. Boil for 1 minute.
Pour hot mixture over oatmeal and chopped nuts.
Stir until well blended. Drop from the teaspoonful into powdered sugar and roll while still hot.
Place on wax paper until cookies harden.
