Ginger Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour, sifted
    1 1/2 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. cloves
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
    1 1/2 tsp. ginger
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. butter or margarine
    1/4 c. shortening
    1/4 c. dark molasses
    1 egg
    1/2 c. sugar
Preparation
    Cream butter, shortening, 1 cup sugar, molasses and egg.
    Beat hard.
    Add remaining ingredients.
    Mix well.
    Make into small balls about the size of a walnut; roll in sugar.
    Place on greased cookie sheet and bake at 375\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
